I have a Sanyo DP46848. You can see from the pictures what it's doing. The lines on the screen will flicker in and out; same with the big black area. They are not there all the time; they will come and go.
From the research I've done on this problem, it seems like it's the timing control board that needs to be replaced. Am I right? I'd like input from the smart folks here. What do you think is wrong, and what do I need to do to fix it? Would I be right to buy this part?
