black screen hp

my laptop hp stream wont open when i turn it on the screen suddenly turns to black and the power lights turned off when i plug the charger the charger light is off. before it happens my laptop is fully charge. i hope anyone can help me. i dont know what todo.

1. Unplug the charger and in screw all the base screws, theres some under the rubber feet
2. Remove the topcase using a thin object like a guitar plectrum, start from the bottom and make your way round to the top.
3. Remove the battery cable from the mainboard
4. Hold down the power button for approx 30 seconds( this releases static electric in the capacitors)
Plug charger and battery back in and see if it worked
