I have a Lenovo Z40-70 (I3-4005U, Nvidia 820M 2GB, 8GB) with Windows 10, and for a few days i've been getting this issue, where after the manufacturer logo i get a black screen where i can move the cursor around.
I have to do a hard shutdown to get out, and sometimes i get to the windows recovery screen, but i system repair does nothing, neither does startup repair. I also can't get into safe mode, or any variations of it, so i can't try stuff like uninstalling my graphics driver... Also tried trying to log in blindly but was unable to.
I am booting with only the power cable plugged in.
Has anyone had this issue and solved it without having to lose data? I really would be bummed if i lost everything, because i have some valuable stuff in there.
EDIT: Now im on the black screen, but the cursor looks like its loading something (its in the blue circle shape), idk what its doing but thats that haha.
