Hi,

Yesterday i broke the screen of my asus X202E-CT009H, which is touchscreen. I can turn it on and de HDD and power led turn on, the fan spins and the backlights turns on.
I tried attaching a hdmi and vga Monitor but is say that it has no signal. When I press ctrl+alt+del the backlight turns of and back on again.

Is just the lcd and touchscreen broken or is it something worse?

Please help :’/

When you tried to attache the external monitor, did you make sure that you turned off the laptop first, then turned on the monitor's power and finally turn on the laptop? If you don't do it in that order, many laptops won't register the connection to the device.

NOTE: You may have to press an "external monitor" button. Could be the f4 button or a button with two monitors on it, for the external monitor to work.

Often you may need to unplug the screen's internal display cable for it to start with the external monitor as default.

Otherwise you will need to toggle the external monitor hotkey as webworkings suggested, every time it is booted.
