Having used several versions of both over the years, I can say that I've had the best luck with the combination of CloneCD and Clony, especially with game CD's. The latest versions of both work very well, in most situations, depending on what CD-RW you are using (with CloneCD, this can be a virtual drive, as this is an option during the program installation.) If it's just a "normal" CD, I usually copy/burn with Nero.

For copy protected CD's I use Alcohol 120%, and for other CD's I use CloneCD which I found it does the job faster than Nero.
