only if you have the software loaded onto it before it was lost. i would contact the vendor of the laptop and report it stolen..if anyone calls for warranty work or replacement disk and gives the csr the unit serial number. wit hit flagged in the system you may have a long ball chance of finding it. i would start by emailing or faxing pawn shops in and around your town. if it was somone looking to score money for drugs there going to get rid of the laptop as soon as they can. creglist and ebay have your friends and family look online for it. if you did any online banking or has your ss number on the laptop i would call the bank and close out the accounts so that they cant get your funds or order checks or replacement credit cards in your name. change all your passwords to sites you used and get a free credit report.
