Block an unknown number from calling?

how to stop unknow numbers from calling my cell phone verizon has no solutions they keep telling me since there is no number to block it is soooo annoying i can't change my phone number since i use this as a business phone..

What kind of phone do you have? If you have a smart phone, i.e. Android based or a Blackberry, there are tons of apps out there that allow you to block restricted or private numbers.
