Blu Ray Player Connections

I have a bd player with hdmi and rca audio outputs and two nice old speakers. Can I connect the video thru hdmi and audio thu rca individually?

Yes...probably...but the outputs for the audio aren't powered....meaning you can't connect them directly to the speakers unless the speakers are powered.

If the speakers aren't powered, you need an amp.
