Hello,
when watching a movie, the previews come thru the surround sound but the movie will not.

not all movies are recorded in surround sound.

for instance, lets say an older movie from the 80's might only be in stereo, but the previews which may have been created much sooner were recorded or remastered in surround sound.

i tried two different movies and they both are new movies.

double check your bluerays sound settings and double check the movies sound settings to make sure they are on surround sound.

you need to go through every sort of solution you can and list what you have tried.

i changed the cables and i cleaned player. i also played the move usng my ps3 and it worked fine. thanks for trying to help.
