Are BlueWire antennas <fundementally> different from other tv antennas? Where can I read up on them?

Am I wrong in understanding that a BlueWire antenna will let me receive MSNBC, say, over the air -- even though that normally requires a COMCAST or VERIZON cable subscription to receive it?

MSNBC is not broadcast over the air. It requires a cable or fiber connection.

Blue Wire appears to be just another indoor HD antenna, not different that bunches on the market. Its reception is based on where you are and what is broadcasted OTA where you live. This is not a device that will allow you to receive cable only broadcasts.

Scams. Many vendors advertise these things "watch (ALL they imply) TV for free." "Replace your cable and (no lost of any channels they imply)" - a BIG FAT NOT! Those things work no better than your el-cheapo antenna, don't pay them 3x as much for the same thing.

As already mentioned MSNBC (not same as NBC) is not broadcast but you can watch *some* MSNBC programs on YouTube, free.
