But you can use BT headsets with iPAQ Pocket PC - most of them.

Depends on your definition of 'most of them'.

Well as far as I know it should work with 1940, 2210, 5450 - that is "most"
of HP iPAQ PPCs with BT.

So the hack works on the 1940? I knew the 2210 does and heard the 54/55
does.

My 5550 came with a 'Connect a Bluetooth Headset' profile
readily available in the New|Connect! options. Have yet
to try it out though, I don't have a good BT headset yet.

You only used the build in profile or did you use the
registry hack to get audio to work?

With my 5555 I used just the headset profile built in. I put my BT250 in
discoverable mode and told the 5555 to search for bt devices and it found it
as a headset. I put the pin code in and it worked great. The only problem
I have and this is more of a fault with the bluetooth and wifi chipset in
the 5555 is when the bluetooth radio is in discovery mode it knocks the wifi
signal out. So when using my headset with voip I have to establish the
connection to my headset before I make a call because the bluetooth initial
connetion will cause the wifi to loose it's connectivity. This happens on
both my 5555 and 5455 but not on my 4350 or 4150 as those have different
radios.

That's interesting to know, thanks :)
Never knew the Bluetooth radio could knock out the WiFi radio.
I do know the WiFi radio on the 5550 is not entirely stable.
but the last ROM update did make it a little more manageable.
(it reconnects now by itself, finally)
