Bluetooth speaker connection

How can I get tv sound from a smart tv hooked to a bluetooth enabled surroundsound to play through bluetooth speakers?

I have a feeling that the surround sound system has a bluetooth receiver so you can send audio to it from rather then a bluetooth transmitter to send audio from it to a bluetooth speaker that is not part of the surround system.
The solution is to connect a BT transmitter directly to the TV. Depending on what connections the TV has you may need a splitter.
