Solved! Bluetooth transmitter to Samsung soundbar

So my partner recently got a record player, but due to the positioning of our house we cannot run a cable directly from it to the soudbar surround sound setup we have.

I thought getting a bluetooth transmitter would solve this as I can connect my phone to the soundbar. but the transmitter just will not auto-pair.

Anyone know of any devices that they have got to work, or is this just one of those cases of 'it should work, but for x reasons it doesnt and you can get around that'?

it should auto pair if you only use it with the record player and the soundbar. If you use your phone with it, it will loose connection and won´t auto pair to the record player, but to your phone.
