I'm considering buying a set of Bluetooth wireless headphones for use with a Bluetooth equipped TV I own. Recently, I read an article claiming that Bluetooth audio quality is not comparable to other audio outputs. Does anyone have any experience doing this and what are your observations? I'd also be interested in any recommendations for wireless headphones, over the ear only. Quality is much more important than price.

Any pair of Bluetooth headphones or speakers will work, the sound quality is excellent (not as good as a high end cord headset) but perfectly acceptable for the purpose.
If you want super high quality audio with bass and surround sound, Bluetooth won't work for you. If you are into more casual/standard movies and aren't picky for all the details, I guess the bluetooth headphones should work. The only worry is how long the battery will last and how comfortable will they actually be (for longer periods of time).

Thanks for the reply. I'm hard of hearing and voice quality is what's most important to me. Battery life is always an issue but no more so with the Bluetooth if you believe the data sheets. Also, I don't see why they should be any less comfortable than any other but I won't know that until I try them. Thanks again.

I bought a set of those from Costco and they were DOA. I exchanged them for another set which was also DOA. I exchanged those for a third set which worked out of the box but failed less than a week later. No thanks.
