Solved! Bluray drive from SFF to Latitude Laptop

Can I take the Bluray guts from Dell SFF and put it in the casing of a regular DVD drive on my Dell Latitude laptop? Bluray casing on the the Dell SFF is slightly thicker than the one on the laptop.

These BluRay drives are ranging from $30 to $90 on Ebay. If it is doable and the amount of work amounts to 1-2 hours of my time then it is all worth it.

what about like one of them sata to usb hdd adapter wires.. they pretty cheap.. think it might work with yer blueray drive
