BMPCC: Formatted SD Card before use now I cant get files onto my computer

I formatted my SD card on my camera manually at one point and now I cant access the files on my SD card on my PC. I can view the files directly from my camera but whenever I insert the SD card onto my computer it needs to be formatted on the PC but this would mean I would lose all my files. What do I need to do to recover them?

I formatted my raw files from my BMPCC and lost some footage. Is there a way to recover this. Also, everytime I try to get the remaining footage that I shot after the format onto my PC it tells me to format my SD on my PC but I don't want to lose the footage I have left on it. I can access these files directly from the camera but cannot access them on my PC without it asking me to format the SDXC card? How do I solve this?Please help
