Boost mobile special code

Im trying to use a simple mobile sim card on my old boos mobile motorola i1 but it keeps asking for special code. Called boost and they have me a ”special code” which didn't work.

Call them again and tell them that the "special code" did not work.

Is this related to the "special sauce" McDs uses?
