Solved! Boot problem in toshiba satellite l645

Hello,

I cannot enter the bias setup, no toshiba logo flashes, have tried all the f-keys,
allows me to repair the computer
bt takes days to complete the repair, cannnot
open in any mode,help!!!

Hello simtekz,

You said you cannot enter BIOS. Would that mean you can't boot from CD either or you have some key that you hit and you get options for the device to boot from.
If, by any chance, you can boot from CD, you may try http://partedmagic.com/doku.php?id=start . This program runs from CD (no install required)

thanks for the help
but the real problem was that my bios has gone in sleep mode
short circuting a small part inside my laptop fixed the problem
anyway help appreciated...
