Boot windows every time i startup

Hi
So i have an Inspiron 13 5000 series , and windows 10 and every time i strat the laptop it doesn't go to windows it show the dell logo then * no boot grey line and balck screen" i keep pushing the f12 button to get me to t boot windows . I reseted windows but nothing really changed . Please help me *my dad will kill me if he knows i ruined my laptop*

What did you do on your laptop before the issue came about? Can you get into BIOS and see what the primary boot device is? It should be Windows Boot Manager followed by your SSD/HDD and then the optical drive. For good measure, you may want to see what BIOS version you're on and if there is any pending updates.
