Booting error windows 8

I have a problem and i need to solve it very quick. Please help me!
I have a laptop Dell vostro.
I just installed Windows 8 and everything was working great!
After i finished installing all my apps,
The process was successfully completed, and the next time i restarted my laptop only black screen with one white slash blinking and again i restart and select harddrive from boot option then it will work. It is not automatically booting in to windows 8 . harddisk is my first priority in booting option.....please give me some solution

Since you just installed Windows, I'd just re-install it again and see if that works fine. Make sure you test it for a bit before installing any further programs and drivers. You should also run a test on the hard drive, the BIOS may have an option for that, or you can use a boot disk like Ultimate Boot CD that has drive check utilities.
