Boston Acoustics A22 Floor-standing Speakers? Rare? Good? Bad? Help!

I have been offered some Boston Acoustics A22 floor-standing speakers in trade for a smartphone. I am really intrigued by the offer and am hoping for some help.
I know nothing about these speakers and it has turned out to be very difficult to find anything on them due to their age (mid 90s I think) and perhaps rarity. The trade would put their value to me at about $200. This seems like a pretty good deal, even if I do not use them until further down the road but I am hoping that someone on here has some experience or knowledge of these speakers. Also any links to reviews and such would be greatly appreciated.

I've never heard them but 200.00 bucks in trade would be a good deal. Boston Acoustics makes decent speakers. I really couldn't find any info on the BA site. Are they white van speakers? I'm not sure.

The main thing is you need to inspect them first and listen to them. If they sound like 200.00(1200.00 new) speakers, they might be worth buying...

Yes I read that, If you look at both both links, they look to be from the same person!

The speakers in those articles are the same ones. If I could find out a way to attach pictures I throw in some of the ones the guy has sent me. I am going to meet with him to day to check them out.
