Bought headphones but i only have 1 port on my laptop help!!

Hello i recently bought a pair of Sades SA-930 headphones and i only have 1 port for the headphones so i can hear out of them but i don't have a port to plug in the mic would buying a splitter cable work so i can use the mic on my headset as well? if so what is recommended that is prefereably cheap? i'm not very good with computer type stuff any help is appreciated!
