Brand new Acer Aspire e5 cant start

Hello I just got a new laptop. Acer as u see.
I unpacked it, found the folder it said, put the battery in, connect the laptop to ac power and press to power button. So that was rly easy but, there is one problem. Nothing happens when I press the power button? A blue light turns on like its ''turned on'' and nothing happens on the screen?

Im like wtf?? Noo damnit! I have to use it on monday!

Tried to unplug ac, battery, hold power button etc. Maany things...

What to do?

Take the battery out and try to start it just on the AC mains.
If it switches on, switch it off, put the battery in, charge it for 10 minutes and then switch it on (on AC mains with the battery plugged in).
See if that helps.
