Solved! Brand new Cool Nice bluetooth headphones

I have hearing aids that have bluetooth connection but wanted to try over the ear headphones to limit some outside noise. They connected/paired to my Windows 10 laptop without a problem but only get static through them. Can't play music or movies. Any ideas? Hearing aid bluetooth works good.

Test with another source, they could simply be faulty. For under $20 for headsets with bluetooth I don't have much hope for their quality.
