Brightness and resolution problems with drivers

I have weird problem with my laptop (Sony Vaio S11X9E/B) - CPU: i3-330M. After clean Windows 7 64bit Ultimate install, there´s a problem with hardware acceleration, which menas that computer is slower and even Solitare is glitchy and pixelated, and resolution of display. Display has 1366x768, but I can set max 1024x768. After some research fo drivers I installed the newest one from the official website of Intel. Then I restarted the laptop and the problems with resolution and hardware acceleration were gone. Great, BUT.... Now, I have very low brightness of my display. Everything is set to max performance and 100% and still, it is max 20% of the brightness. The functional key to set brighntess doesnt work (only works manually set in power options), but volume change works, strange. So I restored default drivers and brightness is ok again, but my resolution is back on 1024x768 and hardware acceleration is not working again. Any solution?

Install the drivers from the Sony support site, including chipset, updated BIOS and function key utility if there is one.
