Broken screen and monitor won't connect

I have an acer aspire v 5 and my screen is broken I have tried everything to get an external monitor to work with keys but it jsut won't work and I was wondering if there was a way to blindly factory reset the computer

Hi Liske99,

Actually there's no way you can format your PC without the use of your monitor. The only way around this is just hoping your PC is already in windows plug your external monitor into your laptop then press Windows + P on your keyboard then press enter that should make your laptop set into Duplicate mode wherein you should see on your external monitor what should be seen in your laptop screen.
