Hello!

So I poured some water at the screen and it became black after a restart.

These are 2 pictures descriding where the water was (Green circle) and the red arrow shows where it went down. Also have a picture of the connection of the screen.

Computer model: Toshiba Satellite P50-a-j11
Screen model number: B156HTN03.0

I have plugged in the computer into an external screen (can be seen in the pictures aswell) and it works as a charm. Keep in mind that the computer is three years old but it is still working as a charm and I don't think its the time to replace it since its still a solid computer.

So to the question that I need help with is that I need the right screen for my computer which I intend to buy off from ebay/aliexpress.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-15-6-Full-HD-LED-LCD-screen-for-B156HTN03-0-Toshiba-Satellite-P55-laptop-/351325384713?hash=item51cc9ff009:g:8VsAAOSwt7pXNLBe

Will this screen work even though it states it is for P55? Can't really find anything that is stated to be for my model of computer. Thanks in advance!

Solution
try this & go for the matte finish as less reflections & finger prints. http://www.laptopscreen.com/English/model/Toshiba/SATELLITE~P50-A~SERIES/

Your best bet is to either call Toshiba support or a local repair shop. I did a quick search with your part # and also came up with a couple on Amazon. I read the reviews and people were also stating they used them on a p55. Odd's are they are the same, but I would check with a tech first or take a chance. You might even have better odds of getting ahold of a repair shop that specializes in Toshiba more than Toshiba itself.
