Broken speaker connector on back of Unit

I have a Onkyo ht r680 home theatre receiver. My center channel speaker connector on back of unit was broken during a move. I can get what's left of the screw to turn out so far and it stops. How do I remove what's left of screw to put in a new connector? Thanks, Dan

If you take the sides and/or top off, can you get to it with needlenose pliers?

I did that and screw only turns out so far and just stops. I was afraid to force it anymore, or maybe screw it in towards inside might be better?

Without a clear photo, it's hard to tell what's going on with that connector.

Sounds like the screw is captured so you cannot remove it and lose it when attaching speaker wire. I would solder a wire to the terminal and attach that to the speaker wire.
