Looking for a laptop to edit video and use Adobe designing applications. I currently have an old 2010 macbook pro that heats up a lot while using Final Cut Pro. I love the OS X experience but with Windows 10 coming out Im curious to try out a PC for a change. I was looking at some Gaming laptops(I.E. Alienware 17 4k touch screen, Asus G751) and they're just vicious machines I thought with so much power in them they must be better than Macbook Pro Retina 15 am I right? As for gaming part I'm not that interested but I wouldn't mind playing a little here and there. Also is there much of a difference between 2.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 and the 2.5 GHz? Is it worth even going with the 2.8 option? Hope you guys can answer and thanks in advance.

As you use final cut pro I would recommend sticking with macs as windows 10 is one of the most buggiest software I have ever seen.
