Budget Laptop/Tablet for casual internet and productivity

Hello all and thanks for any and all response,

I am looking into buy a budget laptop for the wife. It will be used for internet surfing, productivity, store pictures, music, etc etc. Basically this is by no means be used for gaming or and thing very memory intensive.

I would like to have at least touch screen, and if possible foldable/removable keyboard etc. Found a few decent deals on newegg, but I know the people on here will see much more than I will.

Looking at a budget of less than $500, preferable around $300. I know it is tight, but for its use it does not need to be super fantastic.

You should not have any trouble finding a device in your price range. My price range was less than yours and I am extremely happy with my device that I purchased.

I purchased this for my wife who had near identical needs and it has turned out to be a surprisingly nice machine for the money: http/www.dell.com/us/p/inspiron-11-3137/pd?~ck=mn

I haven't upgraded the memory yet but will soon as that is really it's only drawback. Some reviewers have complained about the trackpad, but it hasn't bothered her up to this point.
