Hi, I'm looking for a notebook on amazon for a friend who needs a one for video editing, photoshop, graphics desing etc. His max budget is 550 USD. What do you recommend? I'm trying to find something in acer or asus, with amd mobility graphics, but i have bad experiences with an HP with AMD A10, it burned like hell.

I'm thinking in an amd solution for this, like this other example (planning and upgrade +4gb ram): http://www.amazon.com/Acer-Aspire-E5-521G-60BX-15-6-Inch-Midnight/dp/B00K2O4TB0/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1424972340&sr=1-1&keywords=acer+radeon

But my doubt is: did lenovo one had high temperatures on full performance? I had an HP one and was horrible.

I'm considering your one, but in my country i can buy this 2 ones:

and

http://www.amazon.com/Acer-Aspire-E5-521G-60BX-15-6-Inch-Midnight/dp/B00K2O4TB0/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1424972340&sr=1-1&keywords=acer+radeon

what do u recomend? I think the amd cheaper one will work better on video editing than intel hd 4400.

On you..

Acers are great.

Acers are ok for normal use but they don't really specilise on video editing. I am not saying by any means that they are horrible to uese though. They are ok for gaming based on the comments people have given in this forum.
