Solved! Built in Microphone not working

Hello, i just bought an acer laptop model is acer aspire 4736z but i am having problem with the mic, it cannot detect sounds, i try the sound recorder and doesnt record any sounds. It just make an zzzzzzzzzz sounds. I did adjust the levels of the sounds but ther is no effect.what do i need to do? Please help me with this,thank you.

Are you sure that it has a mic built into it? If it does, check out the sound properties and ensure that the mic is activated.
