Bush soundbar wont connect to Samsung TV with RCA cable

Hi, so I have just got a brand new Samsung 6 series MU6120 4K TV & a brand new Bush 100W 2.1 Channel sound bar with bluetooth and the soundbar has either RCA connection, AUX connection or Bluetooth. My tv only has a Componant in or AV in port or a digital audio out (optical) but the AV in is a single port, compatible with different colours. Not sure of the term sorry. The bluetooth and aux work with my phone but the RCA doesn't. No sound at all. Hopefully someone can help!

Hi, You have to connect the digital audio out on tv to the analog port on soundbar. You'd need a convertor digital to analog for that.

Are any digital to analog converters fine for this? I have seen they come with an optical cable as well. How would I go about using this?

Optical cable from tv to converter, then rca cable from converter to soundbar.

Check the TV manual on how to use the optical output. You may need to turn it on, turn the TV speakers off, and change the audio output type to PCM. If your TV will not output in PCM stereo you will need a DAC that accepts a 5.1 digital input.
