Hello All

I am looking to buy a 13" laptop preferable but can go for 15" for under $450. I know it is not the highest budget but it is have we can afford. We need to replace an old macbook that has decided to stop working. The macbook was an intel i5 @2.3 GHz with 4GB ram 2011 model.

Any laptop with similar specs would work great as it was used for work and pictures, does not need to be a mac. Above 250GB storage will be a bonus.

Any advice or recommendations?

This is what I found so far:

Thanks,

That ASUS VivoBook F402BA-EB94 looks pretty good to me. It would outperform that macbook you've been using for sure. 1 thing that would concern me is that there are no slots for additional ram. However the 8 GB that it comes with (soldered to motherboard) is probably adequate (you've been using 4 after all). That SSD will be very fast and if it seems a little small - there is a usb3 port for an external HDD.
