I'm planning to buy a laptop but i want some opinions to make my final choice
So theres this acer laptop i found which has a really good price but is it a desktop replacement?
I will be playing games on it, enough for L4D would be great

Solution
If you need the bigger screen(more desktop replacement) and more HDD then go for the first one.
Its a matter of opinions but the extra GB of RAM will become useful in some games/apps

You can drop in another 2gig stick of memory in your the acer and sell the 1gig stick for about 40.00 bucks,and if you wait memory prices always come down

the processor on the dscription looks like simple but is a pentium dual core t4400@2.20 ghz

I just got an Emachines at Walmart. I noticed on the bottom on the coa sticker it said Acer corporation, so I did some research and found out that acer actually owns emachines, anyway here are the specs intel t4400 processor 8oomhz fsb, 3gig ddr3 1066mhz ram, which I upgraded to 4gig, 250gbhard drive,wireless b/g card,graphics media accelerator4500hd,all for 298.00, there selling them on ebay for around $400.00
