I will be mostly using the laptop for day to day use, including surfing, email, but I will also be using it for a sound program that uses USB ports and some graphic work on Corel Draw 11, and AI as well. I like to multi-task a bit. I will also be doing some DVD back-up stuff (ripping and burning). So I would really like to know which unit is the best bang for the buck. I really like the HP packaging (look and feel) but I don't want to base my decision on just looks (LOL, don't judge a book by it's cover so to speak) as I don't mind the clean lines of the toshiba! Again losta thanks for any answers and input!

I went with the Toshiba!! Even though you sell notebooks, I want to thank for replying to my post, it was your evaluation that ultimately made the choice for me, as I've seen how well versed your computer knowledge is! thanks again for the help! :D
