buying a laptop

i would like to buy a laptop for my personal use i am looking for i5 or i7 processor for more than 2 ghz speed. install virtual os like server os for my studies and normal use like watching movie downloads new os and softwares etc please help me to find a good laptop now in the market.

i made a mistake of buying the first laptop i saw with i7. if you want to use it for low stuff such as office, the any old i7 or i5 is fine. BUT! (there's always a but), if you want to use it for things that require a decent laptop such as games then make sure it has a good graphics card. so dont worry about anything, just check the graphics card.
if you want to hit some smooth frames make sure that you get a high end graphics card, the best in my opinion is any of the nvidia geforce graphics card!

I will need your budget. I would either recommend dell, lenovo or asus laptops for this. They make quite good laptops for this. I am only familiar with asus as I own one but I have seen other people use the other 2.
