Buying a used receiver?

I am looking to buy a Sony STR-DN1050 for a new audio system and saw one used at BestBuy that was returned but said nothing was wrong with it. It was about 100 bucks cheaper than buying a new one and was curious if the 14days return policy bestbuy has is worth buying it and taking it home to test out or if it seems to sketchy and should just buy a new one?

i would go used im useing a 10 year old one and it sounds flawless

Make sure that the receiver is complete with the box, manual, all the accessories, and will come with the full manufacturers warranty. If it does save the $100.
After you get it set up check all the functions to make sure that everything works as it should.
