buying callege laptop

hi guys, i am going to collge soon and i have the dell inspiron 15 7000- 256gb ssd I5.
i used it in high school but it was quite heavy so i looked for an upgrade and found the lenovo yoga 920, 13.9 inch 512gb ssd, 4k, and the lenovo mix 720, 12 inch, 1tb ssd. do you think i shoud upgrade or stay with my dell inspiron and if yes, what is the best option for me?

If you should change up to you, the Dell is a very new system. If you want the Lenovo yoga, the 4k screen is way too high resolution for a smaller laptop screen.
