buzzing sound on computer

I have a Roxio Video Capture USB connect to my computer and on my Sony Hi8 Camcorder.and there is a buzzing sound coming from my computer..

But if I disconnect the USB cable...I can't recorded my tape on the computer

Ok so I record the DVD... after I'm finished ..I unplug USB cable... yes ...and the buzzing is gone

Wait, are you doing a direct burn to dvd drive? Are you sure its not the normal dvd spinning buzz that you're hearing?
Try recording to the harddrive. If theres no buzzing then its the dvd drive.
