You can output the laptop to the TV directly via HDMI. You do not need to run it through the cable box, which rarely has HDMI input.

but I'm using old type tv it has no hdmi and the adapters for it are exspensive and my digital tv cable box has hdmi.
Is there any way I can run it through my cable box into TV :/

Does the cable box have HDMI input and output? Or just a single output? If it doesn't have HDMI in, then you can't do what you are trying to do.

How many HDMI ports does the cable box have, and are they marked? Chances are good that you only have HDMI outputs, and no inputs.

It only has one hdmi exit and it is not marked at all ..
