Cambridge dt 2200 speakers

can I use any of the 5 x 1 suround sound Cambridge speakers without the sub wuffer control or PCI card installed. if so how do I do it. It seem a shame to bin good working product just because some years later M/S diside to up grade there O/S and the manufactures drop support.

The amplifiers for the Cambridge speakers were in the subwoofer so you cannot use the satellites without amps somewhere. Sound cards do no have amplifiers. The sound might not be adequate without some subwoofer anyway.
You could use the sats in a surround system with a receiver.
