The other games include: Team Fortress 2, Skyrim (ultra/HD mods), Garry's Mod, Titanfall, CS:GO, Warframe and LOTRO (highest settings). Laptop is secondhand but has been refurbished. My MAIN concerns are the graphics card and the processor

don't expect any moder game to run anything demanding on more than low-medium quality settings, skyrim will never run with all the mods on max, warframe wont run on to good either

What frames are we talking about with those games you've listed? On lowest/lower graphics. (Including LOTRO) And would Dota 2 and TF2 work? As they are most important to me.

dota and tf2 should run quite well you should be able to get up to 60 fps in those game tweaking graphics settings, cant speak for lotro, the rest like warframe and skyrim will require quite a lot more gpu power to go to higher quality settings, but even then you should be able to get more than 30fps in all those titles

Ok, thank you. I'm meeting with someone in a couple of days to talk about this. 30 fps is ok, I guess. Although I'd rather a machine that can do 60. I'm also redoing a desktop parts list with a budget in mind so hopefully that takes off. But if not, I shall get this laptop.
