Can Acer Aspire V5-132 turn on without using battery?

Can my Acer Aspire V5-132 turn on and be fine while plugged in without the battery? Im curious because whenever I turn on my notebook, it will shut down immediately, even when its plugged in. Thats why I wanted to just remove the battery and live on without it.

All laptops should be capable of turning on without the battery while it is plugged into an AC outlet.

If your laptop shuts down immediately, then that means your laptop likely has a hardware issue or the AC adapter is defective, or both.
