So I want to buy sims 3 but my brother says that it doesn't work on our computer which is a MacBook Pro. Does it work or not?

You have to be more specific, details? I think that sims is supported.

I think we need a bit more information at this point. I looked up MacBook Pro and the new ones look like they can but without your specs I really can't say one way or another.
