Can i change my u k ip address now i am in the u s

Hi there, I am now living in the U.S and I brought my U.K laptop with me. The trouble is I get UK search results from Google.

Amazon is determined to send anything I buy to my UK address (!) and when working online I occasionally get the message 'We have detected you are in the UK'.

So I would love to be able to change my IP address if possible.

That's not your IP address doing that. It's your cookies.

Thanks a lot for advising me...I did as you said, cleared my cookies - I also saw my IP address had indeed changed.

The issue with Amazon is because they have the details of my UK address and bank account of course...I'll be ok when I let them know my change of address and open a bank account over here.

I also need to open Google.com instead of trying to use Google.co.uk, which my laptop opens.
