Can i connect external speakers without a receiver to my Toshiba Model 47ZV650U TV? It has a USB & Digital Audio Out ports.

Problem#1, USB: TV USB don't put out sounds. So that's out.
Problem#2, DIGITAL OUT: So "somebody" needs to do the D-to-A conversion, a receiver will, and u say u don't have?

Buy a nice soundbar with Digital In.
