Can I convert Optical Digital Out to a USB input?

Hello,

I apologize if this has been covered previously but I could not find anything describing my situation.

I recently bought a Sony SRS-X99. Its supports Bluetooth and Wifi but has only 3 hardware Inputs. Which is an AUX, USB type A and USB type B.

I am looking to use the Digital Out on my TV to connect to this system. What is the best solution? I have tried the headphone jack on the TV to the AUX but it is full of interference to the level that it is unbearable.

Can I go from Optical Out to the USB-In on the Sony soundsystem with a product like this or does that only work on a PC?

The USB connection on that speaker are limited in what they can do.
You can buy a DAC like this one to convert the digital out of the TV to an analog audio feed for the AUX input on the speaker.
