can i factory reset my MSI GE60 2PL Apache

i changed my msi from windows 8.1 to windows 7 and i regret it. is there any possible solution that i can reset my laptop to the original factory settings? please help!

I take it you already tried the factory reset option at boot? If that did not work, you can contact MSI to see if they can send you a set of disks.

Failing that you can download Windows 8 from MS still, try using one of those disks.

A factory reset should work if you have do done so yet.

You laptop's hard drive has a hidden partition that has the OS the laptop was shipped with. When you do a factory reset, the OS is installed from the hidden partition. Downgrading from Win 8.1 to Win 7 should not have affected any of the content on the hidden partition.

Consult your user manual to determine how to do a factory reset.
