can i get the Logitech X-530 speaker to work with a monitor and with ps3/pc?

i just got these speakers and it says in the box that it will work with the pc and the playstition 3 so how can i set it up in my monitor?

like can i use all 5 speakers or can i use only the 3 ones? and where do i plug them?

you need to connect the ps3 to the optical input and the pc to the analogue inputs.
